Nonetheless, here we are in mid-March 2024, some eight years after Trump entered the political scene and Trump has arisen from the political deceased.

How many epitaphs have been written and will be written about Trump? And yet he is now leading an incumbent president in almost all the polls, with minorities polling record support for a Republican president. Has Trump become a Nietzschean figure on the premise that anything that does not kill him only makes him stronger?

At his nadir in January 2021, Trump’s own party disowned and wrote him off. He faced a field of over ten qualified primary rivals—successful governors, former officials in Trump’s own administration, and his own Vice President. And yet he beat them all—handily.

Trump is incrementally pulling ahead of Joe Biden, on all the issues, in the critical swing states, and in national polls—even as he remains neutered on the campaign trail by almost nonstop court appearances in four different jurisdictions.

Biden is increasingly seen by the American people as corrupt. Almost everything he has said about his family quid-pro-quo syndicate has been proven false. He suffers from early onset dementia, slurring his words, confusing names and faces, stumbling, forgetting names, dates, and places, and screaming when he should be silent, and silent when he should be talking. Biden, not Trump, is disintegrating.

The Left’s Faustian bargain of using ol’ Joe from Scranton as cover for a hard-left agenda has run its course. Biden sinks into incoherence and can no longer serve as a successful veneer. And even the Democratic base has rebelled against spiraling crime, the epidemic of homelessness, an open border that invited in 8-10 million illegal aliens, and a foreign policy in shambles as wars broke out in Ukraine and Gaza on the premise Joe Biden could not or would not restore the deterrence he inherited.

So the left is in a panic that prior impeachment, collusion, disinformation, “Anonymous,” the generals, the administrative state, the weaponized federal and state prosecutors, the performance-art leftwing justices, the subsidized defamation lawsuits, the FBI, the CIA, the DOJ, the IRS, the 2020 BLM/Antifa 4-month-long riots, the January 6 “insurrection,” the leftwing billionaires, the new mail-in/early voting laws, Facebook, Google, Amazon, the new 10 million illegal alien residents, all that and more did not destroy the viability—yet again—of Donald Trump.

What then is the greatest challenge to a Trump second term?

Only one person or event can stop Donald Trump—Donald Trump himself.
